今年もプランターごとミントをいただきました。
昨年も同様のプランターいっぱいに育ったミントをやはりプランターごとまるまるいただき、そのミントでミント水を作っては冷蔵庫で冷やし、夏場の数か月間常に冷蔵庫に入っており、みんなに大好評でした。
このミント水、作るっていうほどのものではなくとっても簡単！飲料水にそのままミントを2～3本入れて冷やすだけ。
すっきりさっぱりしていて夏場には最高です！
先日いただいたミントも日に日にスクスクと育っています。（ミントは手がかからないのでガーデニング音痴の私でも育てられるので嬉しい限りです）
今年の夏場も家の常備水になる事間違いなし！
この日は新潟の雪下人参で作ったマリネもいただきました。
雪下人参は「雪見人参」「雪割り人参」とも呼ばれ、秋に植えたまま雪の下で冬を越し、積雪が少なくなった春に除雪をしながら収穫した人参。
雪の下でじっくりと熟成されたこの人参はとにかく甘い！香りもフルーティーでシャキシャキ。
何しろ人参独特のクセがマイルドで人参ぽくない人参なので非常に食べやすい！
これなら人参が苦手な人でもいくらでも食べれる感じ。
こんなに人参だけをいただいた事があったかしら？

どちらかと言うと人参はやや苦手な私ですが、この雪下人参ならいくらでもいただけてしまうと言う感じでした。
