友人に「5本指の靴下ってとっても快適よ！」と勧められて以来すっかり5本指靴下愛用者となってしまった。
冷え症の私は冬の間はタイツorストッキングの上から靴下を履くので、5本指の靴下は春夏秋の３シーズンのみの愛用となるのですが、5本指靴下の快適さを1度味わってしまうと、なかなか普通の靴下には戻れなくなり、気がつけば私の靴下の8割は5本指となってしまった。
もちろんバンコク滞在中もこの5本指靴下なのですが、スパやネイルサロン等に行って靴を脱いた際、「可愛い～！、これどこに売ってるの？日本製？」とタイ人女性スタッフの方々から声をいただき、集まってこられたのにはビックリした。
タイ人の若いおね～ちゃんからおばちゃんまで皆けっこうこの5本指の靴下に興味深々だった。
そんな事もあり、タイ人の知り合いにお土産として買って行った事もあり、それ以来彼女から「又来る時に買ってきてね～」とも言われるようにもなった。
現在私の生活はほとんど車生活、買い物に行けば毎回4～5袋を下げ、水仕事、台車を曳いての力仕事、油、カレーペーストは飛び跳ねるetc・・・、すっかり日々のスタイルはガンガン洗濯OKな素材のトップにパンツと言うスタイルしか無い！と言っても良い位、年中パンツスタイルとなってしまい、スカートを穿く事は年に何回あるか・・・なのでストッキングの数より靴下の数の方が圧倒的に多い。
しかし、5本指靴下の種類は少なく、「こりゃ～ちょっといかんせん履くのは恥ずかしい・・・」と言うデザインの物も多く、5本指靴下愛用者の私にしてみると「もうちょっと何とかならないものか・・・」と靴下売り場の前でいつも思う。
後１つ、できれば5本指ストッキングやタイツがあったらなぁ～とも・・・。
