バンコク滞在中必ず1度は買い物の帰りについつい買って帰ってきてしまうオリエンタルホテルホテルホテルのアップルクリスプ（65バーツ）。
それこそ初めてバンコクを訪れた時以来母も私もの長年のファン！である。
薄いパイ生地に1.5ｍｍ位にスライスされたリンゴがぎっしり敷き詰められていており、パイ生地とリンゴのバランスがとってもよい。
それこそ昔のバンコクの洋菓子は甘～くてボテッ。味もサイズも重量感たっぷりのとってもヘビーなケーキが並ぶ中、当時から「オリエンタルホテルのクロワッサンは1押し！」と言われているだけあってこのアップルクリスプのパイ生地もやはり美味しく流石オリエンタルホテルメイド！と言う感じの1品。
当時から変わらず薄いパイ生地と一面に敷き詰められたリンゴの酸味もあってか？他のケーキに比べるヘビーでなく程よい甘さで美味しい！
ついつい買い物の帰りに買って帰ったりもしてバンコク滞在中は必ずいただく事に。
