「蓮の花托（蓮の種が入っている緑色の部分）」と言う名前のタイの揚げ菓子。
タイの南部ではよくみかけるお菓子との事。バンコクの市場にありました。
写真で見ると外はカリカリ中はホットケーキの生地っぽく見えますが、モチモチとしたココナツシュガーの味を感じる揚げ菓子です。
懐かしいような素朴な味で後もう1口・・・といきたいところなのですが、けっこう女性には油っこいかも・・・。（私は半分が限界でした）タイ菓子もいろいろあるものだと改めて感じます。
