先日、私のブログ・HPのリンクに貼ってある「毎日カレーとタイ料理」のエスニカンさんにお誘いを頂き、「ホテルイースト21」で開かれたタイ料理関連のイベントに参加させていただき、会食パーティー会場のデザートコーナーに出ていたマンゴスチンゼリー。
私はお初だったこのゼリー、「すっごく甘かったらどうしよう・・・・、でもどんな物か気になる・・・。」と迷っていた所、エスニカンさんが「kaoさん食べた事ない？これ美味しいですよ！」と声をかけて下さり1個いただいて帰り、早速冷やしていただいてみました。
ラベルにはマンゴスチンの種入り！となっていたのでどんな感じ？と思って食べていくと、中にマンゴスチンの果肉(種付き）がコロンとコロンと3個入っていました。種も柔らかく美味しい。
このゼリー、上品な甘さでマンゴスチンの味と香りがたっぷり！美味し～い！
これ、凍らせてシャーベット状にしていただいても美味しそう！
昨日に続き蒸し暑かった今日。こんな日はキュンと冷えたこのマンゴスチンゼリーはたまらない！と思いました。
イベント後、エスニカンさんにイースト21の「ゲウチャイ」クイーンズ伊勢丹東陽町店へ（エスニカンさんのクイーンズ伊勢丹東陽店のブログはこちら）連れて行っていただきました。ここはお惣菜・お弁当のデリコーナーもあり、このマンゴスチンゼリーがありました。（1個￥250前後だったと思う・・・。）

タイ人のためのタイ人によるイベント。日本では貴重な機会だったかと。料理もおいしかったですね。
それとマンゴスチンゼリー。私は３つも持って帰りましたが、冷やして昨晩食べました。よくできてますね。なかなか目に触れる機会がないのが残念です。

タイ政府が力を入れて…と話しでは聞いていましたが、イベントに参加させていただき、実際に多くのタイ人の方々のとっても嬉しそうな姿を拝見致しまして、改めて「本当にタイって何でもやる事がでかい！」と感じました。
