スクンビットの通り沿いにある老舗のホテルランドマークホテルにあるタイ料理レストラン「NIPA」。
家から歩いて行ける距離にあるこの界隈のホテルと言うと、シェラトングランデスクンビット、ウエスティングランデ、アンバサダー、JWマリオットetc・・・。特に日本人向きのガイドブックなどや情報誌にはシェラトングランでスクンビットに入っているタイ料理レストラン「バジル」の名前を目にする事が多いのですが、近所のホテルでタイ料理の場合は、昔から変わらず正統系タイ料理をいただけるランドマークホテルの「NIPA」が私は好きです。

ルワ→舟。 ロンルワ→舟に乗る。
ナムプリック ロンルワ →それこそ車など無く水路を舟で移動していた時代からあるナムプリック。なので長時間持ち歩いてもいただけるよう作る過程で他のナムプリックと比べると手間がかかっています。ナムプリックの材料はカピ、グンヘーン、青いマンゴー、プリッキーヌetc・・・。他にも日本で手に入りにくい食材を必要とする為、お教室のレッスンメニューには入れていません。
ナムプリックの上のオレンジ色の角切りチーズのような物は塩たまご（あひる）の黄身。
バイ ボボー →ハスの葉に似ている小さな葉で味はワサビっぽいと思う。
このバイボボー、以前プラティープ財団のスタッフであるNさんに教えていただいたのですが、Nさん曰く「バイボボーはタイ山岳民族'カレン族'の若さの源」とも言われているそうで、清水のある所に生育する葉っぱとの事。
一緒にいただく野菜類の他にムーワーン（豚肉の甘煮）、プラドックフー（焼いたナマズの身をフレーク状にして揚げた物）なども加わります。
This site seems to get a large ammount of visitors. How do you promote it? It offers a nice individual twist on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to give info on is the most important thing.
