こんな事無かったのに・・・、2~3年位前からムク鳥が急に増えて困っている。
昨年、室外にある給湯器の上部のほんのちょっとの隙間に巣を作ろうとしているのを発見！
しかも、当たり所が悪かったのだろうか、ある朝洗濯物を干そうとベランダに出たらなんとムク鳥が１羽ご臨終・・・。（思っている以上にムク鳥はけっこう大きくて「ひゃあぁ～あ～～！」と思わず叫んでしまった。）
これはもう何とかしなくては！としばらくいろいろムク鳥退治を試みるが効果無く戦いの日々が続いた。「やはり網を張るしかないか・・・」とホームセンターに行き網を購入し、給湯器の上部に網を張りようやくムク鳥は巣を作るのをあきらめてくれた。
もう大丈夫と安心して迎えた今年の春だったのだが・・・。
ある朝からベランダがにわかに騒がしくなり、日に日に枝葉がベランダに散乱し始めた。（いや～な予感・・・。）
こっそり観察しているとなんとムク鳥は昨年以上にパワーUPしていたのだ！
網にしがみつき網を全体重をかけて引っ張って剥がそうとしている！さらに壁と給湯器の5cm程の隙間に必死で潜り込む。出る時も相当苦労して出なくてはいけないこの隙間なのにもかかわらず毎日口ばしに枝葉を銜えて通い始めた。（あぁ・・・、今年もかい・・・）
壁に網を止める事はどう考えても無理。さてどうしよう・・・。とホームセンターをグルグル巡りながら考えた結果、地震の時に家具を支えるツッパリ棒を購入。
ツッパリ棒の天井にあてるゴムの部分にアルミ箔を巻き5cmの隙間に立てかけ網と針金で固定させた。
2～3日、それでも朝からギャーギャーバタバタと何とか新たな障害物を破壊してやろうと必死な鳥の姿があったが、ようやくあきらめてくれたらしく何とか私の勝利！となった。
来年の春は新たにどんな戦略でムク鳥はやってくるのだろうか・・・、更にパワーupしてくるのだろうか・・・。
この季節、鳥も必死だけど私もホント必死なのだ。
