草木染で染めた糸で織った布で作ったベアー。
カレン族の女性は織りが上手な事で知られており、
昔から草木で染めた糸を居坐り機で伝統的な縞模様の布を織り上げます。
藍 → 青
プラデュと言う木 → 茶
ターメリック（ウコン）→ 黄
紅の木 → 赤っぽいオレンジ
に糸を染めます。
タイ北部山岳民族の中で１番人口の多い民族のカレン族。
（タイの人口6,500万人、カレン族約43,000人）
メーホンソン県、チェンマイ県、チェンライ県、タク県、ランパン県、
ランプン県、カンチャナブリー県、ラチャブリー県、ペチャブリー県、プラチャップ・キリ・カン県 などの
北部山岳地帯から中西部の海抜500ｍから1,000ｍの山地に住んでおり、
最近は低地に移動する傾向があるそうです。
